Financial resources

To use financial mechanisms and parameters to ensure an efficient and effective
resourcing structure . |

Manage external controls on financial flexibility to allow maximum freedom
within the Unit

To develop and mange effectively some financial parameters such as cost,
margins, value for money, assets, working capital, cash flow and profitability
(if appropriate) for improvement. |

To manage carefully the issues of risk. |

2.
Information resources
| Information resources are defined as
business, technical and other information together with the means of making the
information available and accessible to both: people of the Unit and
,partially, the target groups and societies. The management should be able to: |

Give access to relevant information to appropriate uses. |

Structure and manage information to support policy and strategy |
 |
Assure and improves information validity, availability, integrity
and security and/or confidentiality. |

3.
Supplier relationships and services
Services are
defined as all services provided to the Training Unit in order to be able to
achieve it’s objectives depending on the available resources. In the
guide, you will recognize what supplies are usually required by the Unit, and
how to evaluate this supply of services.
Supplier is defined as any person or agency or organization
providing goods, services, knowledge or information to the Training Unit. The
management should: |

Maintain developing the data base of suppliers. |

Apply all procedures described in the guide when deal with
suppliers. |

Develops supplier relationships in line with policy and strategy |

Improve and expand the supply chain |

Create a positive competition between suppliers (best service for best price-

How equipment and other assets are managed. Management of the Unit should be able to:

5.
How technology is managed.
| How the Unit develops and protects
technologies, including information technologies, that are the basis of its,
services, processes and systems, and how it explores related and new
technologies that may be exploited to the benefit of the Unit and its target
groups. Management will be able to:
